* Both motors complete from propnut to cowl - but one GC wasn't on motor when pics was taken.
* One has damage to front of cowl (see pics)
* One with the damage to cowl runs good
* One missing GC runs.....but has electrical problems.
Be Sold As Is..... Asking $2800 OBO for both

If that's really an Excel, it's a 225, and they were a pretty strong 225 at that. Had one for 10 years. Never had a lick of trouble with it. Good luck with the sale.

Nah. Like I said, if it's a real 1989 Excel (computer about 8"x10"x1 1/4" on the back of the block), they were 225's that put out about 240-245. They run to about a 6200 rev-limiter, but you can disable it simply by disconnecting a silver wire with a butt plug connector at the bottom of the computer. Had one on a Hydrostream Voyager XT and it would run mid 80's after I had a Bob's cone put on it. Very strong and reliable motor.
