I just acquired a 1966 +-, flat bottom Allison with 4 molded in seats. I originally bought this boat when I was 15. I am now 66. Haven't seen the boat in over 50 years. I found the boat, dug it out of the vines, cleaned it up and now have it in my shop. The transom will need replacing and of course needs new wires, cables, etc. The boat will also need painting. I have contacted Allison Boats to get more info on this boat. I would like to restore it. I don't know how to replace the transom so if anyone out there has any guidance, I am open to ideas. After extensive internet searching, I still have not seen a pic of another Allison like this one.
