Factory Day Thursday Rally 2014

Hey guys, the factory day will be on Thursday. Let me run this by you guys and see if there is any interest....

My first rally, 5 years ago, Joe Harrell organized the factory day to include; meet and greet Mr. & Mrs. Allison, tour the facility and see boats in build, ask any questions to Mr. Allison on set up, driving etc., then head down to the launch/pavillion at Fort Loudon (behind the Allison's) for a box lunch and then launch the boats for a run up the TN river to the Knoxville Stadium. Approx 25 miles one way.

My wife and I had a great time, it's a very scenic ride, as did the owners that showed up at the rally that year. After we get back to the launch we can load them up and head on back to Watts BAr.

Anyone interested in doing this???? Weather permitting , of course.

It is something different and the water is nice and cold by the staduim. Maybe we can eat at the restraunt by the staduim if there open.

Don't know anything about a restaurant up there John but hey that would be neat too!! Yeah, the water is much cooler. I found that out the day I jumped in cuz it was so hot and my "you know what" disappeared!!!!

its called calhouns. world famous bbq and ribs. they have a nice full bar as well

I am looking forward to seeing Grants boat to see how it is set up. Dropping my boat off on Monday to have new power pole brackets put on. So I can lose the floppy wings. So I will be in Knoxville Sunday night.
