Electric brakes

I put a brake controller in my truck recently for pulling the car hauler with my Jeep on it and my BBQ teams' enclosed trailer packed full of freezers, refrigerators, tables, and chairs, etc. After pulling those a few times, I realized just how bad surge brakes SUCK. My boat isn't heavy enough to justify upgrading to electric brakes on the boat trailer, but if i was buying a new one it would definitely have electric brakes!

Yep, once it's adjusted you don't know the trailer is back there. I have a Prodgy controller and switch it between the car, truck and motor home. I think surge brakes can cause a jack knife problem.
