egt install question

Does the power head have to be removed to install the egt's? I don't have the egt's yet and I am in the process of changing the power head and don't want to have to do it twice. I plan to go with the Digitron but darn property taxes are due this month.haha

No, but it sure makes it easier if you've got to remove the powerhead anyway.
