Anybody ever fish any of these dune lakes in Florida?

I'm going down for a week in October. I'll be just minutes from Western Lake.
Nope, not taking my Alli. But that lake is less than a couple hundred acres. Should be no problem to throw my 2-man pond boat in the back of my truck before I head south.
Hoping to get on some Reds, but I'd be perfectly happy to catch some big ol' bucketmouths while I'm there.
Hopefully that'll provide a little entertainment when I get my fill of sitting on the beach.
