I’ve been wiping down the new boat as soon as it comes out of the water every trip. The waterspots come right off of the hull but the jackplate looks several years old already.

Vinegar is what I’ve heard will cut through these spots. Does anyone have a vinegar/water ratio that has worked for you or a product to try?

I use my wife’s cooking vinegar with a random amount of warm water, but a lot more water then vinegar. And I use it to wipe water spots off our ski boat. Same idea though - no need to overthink this.

For hot sauce I use Tunnel BBQ sauce. Never tried applying it to the boat
