Dave I think you need a 9.9 on it, good on gas and I wouldn't think you could get hurt in it....

Get off the computer and go fetch Gohr another Goose and juice? Do they make a 9.9 in a 12" mid???

The pad on mine was stock with the lip .052 in the center if I remember right

Mine handled great .lip was .055 and tapered out an inch from edges

That sounds interesting got a pic from behind? You can PM me a pic if you like I wont show it. Mines pretty flat right now and tapered also toward the edges. Handling is night and day. Plus I picked up 3mph. I have little no lip just a tinny bit near center tapered.
