Not as tough as it was back around 1979 when I left the area (Pittsburgh). You could damn near walk across the river on the junk. It's apparently made one hell of a comeback in 25 years or so.hack02 said:

i think these classics (with harder fishing) brings out the best in anglers. Much better than the sight fishing wack-fests... although sight fishing does take it own set of skills

I would much rather watch a Classic where it only take 13-15lbs than a 50-60lbs where everyone catches fish.
