Bad day

Got my water pump stopped up with sand today at Sardis Lake. They have been drawing the lake down and there was a submerged sand bar like right in the damn middle of the boat ramp channel. Went from 19 ft to no ft instantly. Luckily I was barely moving and didn't damage my skeg. Was hooking up with Ocktane to run the boats. One of those days.....:bangheadvery sad

Prolly talkin about that big bar right off the corner of the dam at Engineers Point, right on the big bend coming to the spillway house. That sand bar has gotten bigger over the last several years. If you head out and turn left too quick you'll get on it in a hurry.
