I just use a hand held stopwatch, and of course I have a lot of trouble with repeatability, but I like to try to quantify the differences.
No such luck on Saturday:
28 Yamaha drag copy

30 Hoss Triton from Allison
All 3 props ran the same 0-30 and 30-50 within my measurement variability.
I borrowed the Yamaha drag copy and wanted to compare it to my existing props. There were far to many boat wakes to run fast except for acceleration runs behind and island.
I used to see more differences prop to prop with my 150 XR4. By comparison my 225 PM is just a beast and it goes.
