can i run a 15" 2.4 200 on a 78' allison 16' center steer or would a 12" mid b better?? just a bad idea?? any info guys??

You can run a 15 but a 12 would be way better

It's alot of fun. Still trying to get a little more weight out of it and nail down a prop/setup. Runs good for a lakeboat

I'll let you know about the 12" with a speedy shortly, but drove a carb 2.5 200 on a 12" with a sportmaster a couple weeks ago and was a BLAST!!!

Were those on a 16 ft Allison. I've driven a 16 ft Speedcraft with a mildy modded 2.5 200 on it and that thing was a blast

yeah that was on 16' Allisons
