Drag fours are great props! have had quite a few. Not real consistent in how they run from one prop to another. But when you get a good one you will love it.

I have a 28. I use it as my bass fishing wheel. It has a lot of lift and carries a load well. Not a good top end prop though. Would only run like 78 with my 200. Where my 26 ET ran a consistent 85. Using it now with the 3.0. Would love to find a fat shaft 30 ET to try out with my new set up.

Ive had 5 or 6 of them all 28 except for one 26. Stock to lightened and balanced. The best one buy far was the one i got off James overall. It was a 28 with Tip cup just a little right at the tips. James said he thought it was a bullet cut?To this day I regret selling that prop. It was my first one and none of the others ever came close to that one. It did everything you would always want in a prop. ive since had many and my new keeper is the drag3. Its a stock 28 and i love it for everything also. There were lots in between. some good some great. this one im not letting go until I wear it out!!;) It closely resembles Todds T3X that I wanted in a bad way but never found one. Similar shape so I thought it was worth a try and i wasnt disappointed. Now only if they came in a 27 like Todds T3X . For me thats the perfect pitch.

Of all the ones I've had, the 26's have performed the best. So if your 28 doesn't work out, maybe he'll let you trade for a 26. As long as you have the rpm capability, which you do, I believe 26 is the ticket! I have a 24 now that ran 98.7 @ 8800. With a good 260 a 26 is a 100 mph prop all day! Good Luck
