260 water hoses?

This may be a dumb question but I think the only dumb one is the one you don't ask. At idle I only have water coming out one hose the temp is fine and at speed there is water coming out both avg temp is about 160 is this normal? Thanks in adavance.

Yep that’s normal and 160 degrees is right on!

With your 260 Merc 140-160 degree range is right on… you can’t get better.
The starboard side (right side from rear view) hose pumps water out first, then even at the dock if you hit the throttle a tad (bring the Rpm’s up) the portside will pee more.
