I am looking to buy a new Q4OT for my 2003. I am running a 260 but purchased a 225 Promax powerhead that I will run this coming season. I'm trying to decide what pitch to order.

26 would be perfect loaded and for most everything else, not sure how a 28 will run loaded. Anyone run a 27? I have a thin 28 et cut that works good for lighter running and a Allison cut chopper in 26 that gets out of the hole fast but doesn't have the locked in feel of the ET. Suggestions?

I have run all three pitches you list in the Quad IV OT...............do you have a stock limiter at 6750 on the Promax?

I would definitely go with either the 26 or 27 and if you are having the limiter raised, I would go with the 26. A 28 at 7013 rpm's on my XB2003 with 225 X ran 94.1 mph. I have found all OT's to run more steeply pitched than they are stamped.
