The other day tach started jumping while running when got to house found the gray tack lead had rubbed some of insulation off and almost to the copper. Tapped up and rerouted around. Took to river to see and still jumping. Swapped to other regulator and tach held rock steady. Plan on when get home from work check out the regulator. My question is if the voltage side checks out is it ok to run or is the tach side going out a start to something else starting messing up. Voltage reading on depth finder was holding 13.8 to 14 while running. Thanks
