2017 Forum Statistics

I forgot to post this last month, and I'm not sure if anyone is interested, but as it turns out, we have a lot of lurkers around here . Here are the numbers:

In 2017

• 369 new folks signed up for the forum
• 2.5 new threads were created each day, or 912 for the year
• 16.3 replies were left each day, or 5,950 for the year
• 698,073 pages were loaded, or about 1912 per day!

It's that last number that is interesting to me. That number does not include bots/etc, that is strictly pages launched by real people. I try to encourage every new person to post, just to get involved, but only about 1 in 20 post to the new user forum. Those who do, keep on posting usually, and drive more conversation.

Anyway, thats what happened last year. Those numbers track at about 1.5x from the previous year, except for the new user registrations, which is up about 4x. Only about 15 spam users slipped through, and with the new forum update, the little spam we get, should be less.

Maybe activity will kick back up on the boards. I know a lot see the pages on fb, myself included, but there's Donna y different ones and information that's hard to find when you want to look for something.
