200xs Blown powerhead

2001 200xs powerhead. To my knowledge it is complete including ECU, starter, alternator etc. It is missing one direct air injector. Apparently #4 blew due to a dislodged locator pin. The rebuilder says it requires a sleeve and .015" bore in other cylinders. The port cylinder head is damaged-there is a used one available at the shop. No holes and the crank is apparently good. $1200 plus shipping (It is in a US shop).

The 2.5L version? What shop is it at?

It is a 2.5. I would rather not mention the shop that it is in at this time as I think they would prefer not to deal with the calls....it is a very reputable shop and the owner will talk to a serious buyer.

Did you get something to replace it yet? Would you consider trading up to a good running 260?

Thanks but I've already got a nice 260 - Its listed locally in Ontario, Canada. I'm hoping to wind up with a mint Promax or 225x.

Will the 200XS powerhead bolt onto a 2.4 mid?

Of course the other question is does the shop have mids?

I missed that the shop was in the US the first time I read the post. I just assumed Top Gun or Speedmaster - the usual Ontario suspects.
