block was reniced by ruck last year, it has 23 hours on it, I bought it from Roy Roach he did the rebuild. All was lightened and balanced Roy knows his stuff and he built it to run on the lake, and to beach race if needed. It has 300 drag horn and electronics, the box is a 11350-a49, no rev limiter, I have the original 280 heads and a cut set of heads to 26cc, $6500 931-629-5476. $8000 now??? Wow, I'm getting an 05 280 with 2 hours that includes fuel pump, filters, and fully rigged for less than that. The price you had it at Johm sounds much more reasonable.

It is on eBay or that is what I was told. Less than 2 hours on a 05 280 for less than $8000 with all that is a good price

Me, too. I was taught about laissez-faire ("let them do you") many years ago by a civics teacher. I completely got it back then. But he never mentioned it was a french term. So..... There's my defense today.
