Awesome Info! Hoping to get 80 out of my grandsport with the 150 ProXs. Question. What did you use to plug up the top the holes in the case and is it necessary to do that to run less the 2” under the pad? Wondering if you can come up more maybe 1” or 1 1/2 below the pad?
I’m wondering what’s the actual Max RPM of the motor I know they say 6000 but I’m sure it’s gotta rev a couple hundred rpm more then that

I used 5/16 inch allen head screws to plug the top holes after I tapped them. I also put fingernail polish as a lock tight because I didn't have any lock tight. works great to get you out of a bind. I still don't have a water pressure gauge so im not sure how high you can really come up plus I don't have a prop bigger than 30 pitch so coming up would mean more rpm and im at the rev limit already.

When you changed upper mounts on mercury 150 4 stroke, did you have to buy 2 of 8M0111054 or comes in pair?
How about lower mounts?
