I use a 22 high five with a 225 on an XB2003. Works great. Launches from the hole. Launches out completely out of water. Problem it runs without feet, but you know....
Don't go all together with slip. Only go with the way it runs and the top speed. That said, if it runs 5% it's really running with more than the actual prop pitch. Just my opinion.
Welcome. You have your eye on the right boat. I'm sure there's plenty of XB21's down your way. Most Allison owners like to give rides. Good luck with the search. The anticipation of the purchase is right up there with the ownership.
Looks like I just missed one, but I'm looking for an OMC 24V, 56LB, 42 Inch bow mount trolling motor, 1997 vintage. Model: BFL4TPV.
Anyone got one laying around?
Thanks in advance.
