I'm putting my 99 XB 03/06 Sport XS 225 up for sale. With my current family situation and job, I have no time to use it. The boat has a 70lb MinnKota trolling motor, 3 batteries with onboard charger, 2 color gps Hummingbirds, Center steering with turn signal trim, Slide seat, replaced back...

Here is my mine with the 225 Sport XS. It does feel heavier and sits a little lower in the back. Though with that said. It runs soooo nice. I don't have to screw with it all the time like the 260. It has a lot of torque, quite, and is freaking excellent on fuel. I wanted a new Allison boat...

Dave, I assume so. It had just got home from Jay's shop when I bought it. Jay put it all together for the guy.

Ended up get an 06 Pro XS 225 with a sporty. I figured that a 225 should be just fine on the XB 03. The 260 is officially for sale I just have to get pics up on the web.

From what I understood on the Mercury website was that the Sport XS had solid mounts and sport master gear case

Also did you change the motor mounts on the ProXS?

I saw this post on Scream and Fly, but I didn't know if anyone on the Allison forum had done this mod. K-dawg or Captinkirk which lower unit are you running?
