Hi Bassmastrbw96, Would you please send photographs of your '06 225 Optimax Sport XS to mwstro@bellsouth.net ? Are you sure the motor has 580 hours on it; that seems like a lot of hours, especially for an '06. Where are you (or the 225) located? Have you any remaining warranty on the motor? Would there be any problem running the Sportmaster (20 inch?) lower unit on a 20'6" Ranger ('98- 519 DVS) bass boat, weight, etc.? Best regards, Mark
