XTB-21 Steering issues.

Hey guys, just took my boat to my mechanic and found out I need new steering cables. I currently have the old Rod Glide by quicksilver on my boat and he says he can't find parts for it. Do y'all know of where I might find those cables. He says that hydraulic will be hard to install because of the room under the console. HELP !!!

I'm no pro but I just put a Sea Star Pro system in my 1997 xb2003. You don't need much room under the console. You just have the 2 hoses that replace the cables.

im no boat mechanic, but the hydraulic steering fits pretty easy on the xtb21! and the steering allison sales is the one i used. the hardest thing to do is get your old cables out seems like it took me and my buddy about 4 hours to put in boat and bleed system. and i loved it!

you could also search on this forum for cable luber or helm luber . you may be able to lube those cables and make them work like new again for about $1000 dollars less
