XB2003/225X/14" setback/slightly modified sportmaster
Here's some of my common combinations and results:

28" Hydromotive QuadIV OT
1/8" below the pad
Solo - 92.7 MPH, on the limiter - 6850 RPMS
w/ passenger - 91.7 MPH, on the limiter - 6850 RPMS


30" Hydromotive T3X
3/8" below the pad
94.3 MPH, on the limiter - 6850 RPMS


25" Hydromotive QuadIV-X
3/8" below the pad
any load - 78 MPH, on the limiter - 6850 RPMS (gets there REAL fast)

25" Hydromotive T3X
3/8" below the pad
solo - 82 MPH, on the limiter - 6850 RPMS (gets there REAL fast, just not quite as fast as a 245 w/ laser injection :banghead)

1998 XB-2003 with 280 short-shaft (15" mid):

14.5" setback
Runs best 1/4" to 1/2" below the pad (1/2" with heavier loads, passengers etc.)

Likes a 28ET or 28 Allison-cut chopper, will run 100 with trolling motor or 101-102 without

Fully loaded with 1600 watt tri-amped stereo and 20 lb Bazooka subwoofer up against front seatpole; six other speakers and two amps installed in each rear locker against bulkheads, Rockford-Fosgate amps and Bose/Bazooka speakers.
