All together took about 2 weeks and cost me about $110, normal price would of been about $400 but I had most of the materials already. I've always disliked carpet in a boat and have been wanting to do this for many years.View attachment 11866 View attachment 11867 View attachment 11868 View attachment 11869 View attachment 11870 View attachment 11871 View attachment 11872 View attachment 11873
That's awesome--you did a great job. My carpet needs replaced, and I am going to try this, I believe.

Glad this post was brought up! My buddy has a new garage and I plan on doing this over the winter as well!! The pics blew my mind but seeing it in person at the rally, Xb03 did an amazing job and it came out beautifully! Ease of cleaning and thinking it will shave a couple pounds is my goal, as well as how clean and sexy to the eyes it looks!!

It’s holding up great no complaints I absolutely love it easy to clean and dry before I put it away.302D0CE9-F291-41A1-A10B-D3BFD0EAA792.jpeg990E4E87-C547-47CC-B37A-A18CD394C17F.jpeg

I have almost convinced myself to go this route, the two things I hate about carpet are the dirt/stains/slime and how if I wash it I have to leave it uncovered to dry so I don’t have to worry about mildew.

The only things I’m worried about with non skid is noise walking around, comfort barefooted, and if it gets slick with catfish slime. Any thoughts on those or have they been non issues?

We walk bare footed on it all the time, but I don’t fish bare footed. I notice no noise from walking on it. Catfish slime would definitely make “what I used” slippery. It’s a trade off the epoxy is like a non stick surface so it cleans up so easy, but in the same token it can get slippery when liquid is applied. It’s alot more grippy with shoes on than with bare feet.
