XB2002 with V4 set up help

Installed the v4 on a 10in plate with 2in. Blocks center of shaft level with bottom ran with 28 et ran 80.5 GPS only ran in a small lake seems like the engine needs to go up some any advice or suggestions thanks Randy

Running about 2.5 positive trim seems to have plenty of lift

I had a VRO 140 that really really drank the gas....

When I ran a v4 on a SS (different boat-more bow lift) it was 14 or 16 inches back. If you look at an SS and a XB02 from the bottom they are strikingly similar. Its almost as if they were built by the same guy.

How fast did it run

Makes me think about moving my 115HO to my SS2000, except that I like acceleration. I could live with never going more than 83.

It ran 81 the 2nd time out think I can still go back with the engine @12 now thinking on going back 2 more having fun with this rig
