Hello,
I'm looking for a boat for family of five. Two like to fish and all like to tube, ski and cruise. I would like a little speed. Is the xb-2003 the boat for us? If so, I'm looking for a good one.

How big is everybody? As much as I like my Allison I would only tell you maybe. I had an xb2003 and 5 is a crowd. Find one and see if everybody fits.
The wake is great for skiing.

Had a xb2003 it was great and more fun to drive but the xb21 2+2 is better just less fun to drive with the same power plant. However it is a newer design and more $$ and more rare.

The xb2003 is fine with 3/4 people. Adding a fifth requiring the front bucket really hurt legroom. In the 2+2 that is not the case but the one sitting on the rear step gets no protection or a real seal unless you add the bench

Hey bud just reading your post and wanted to say the 2003 prosport would fit all your needs but would have to have the right set up with jack plate and prop for a heavier load and low end torque to get a skier up out of the water. In doing so you will loose alittle top end and speed. And always get in some good seat time before hauling family at top speeds.
