What Would You Do?

Need help deciding what to do. I have a stock SM sitting under my 280 that has badly pitted shafts (both prop and drive). This is on a 99 2003XB.
My options are:
1- Rebuild existing unit.
2- Look for used unit.
3- Change to a coned unit
4- Go crazy and change everything out to 15"

Can't wait see what comes of this question.

Don't they make speedy sleeves for the shafts?

I'd get a couple shafts pending all the other guts are ok.

If the shafts aren't too bad they can be cut down and spray welded with aluminum/bronze and your problem is gone for ever. The kicker is early detection cause they can only be cut down a certain amount to retain some strength.
