No less that 10 psi. It all depends on the height the motor is set at and the set back.

some are different

Jessie, I have had one that no mater what or where we ran the mtr it never showed more than 15. Changed water pump cked lines no luck. we decided it must be the gauge. however when we repowered the boat the new mtr would show up to 25-30.--same gauge.

I had the same problem and changed the water tube bushing under the exhaust plate and it solved it. it was the only thing that wasn't new! must have changed the wp too much :roll:

LOW PRESSURE

I JUST WENT THRU THE 2 LBS AT IDLE BUT 20-25 AT SPEED, CHECKED EVERY THING ,RAN COLD AT IDLE BUT WOULD WARM UP AT FULL THROTTLE, HAD SAND AND GRAVEL INTHE POPET VALVE. REMOVED AND BACK TO NORMAL.

12 to 15 is minimum. With this motor on my Blazer, I would get around 14-15lbs at wot. The same motor is now on my Ally and I get 20-25lbs. But the min is 12lbs.
