Props

I have a Grandsport [which is the '03 hull] and I have found that a 30" Chopper II works great with my 225 PMAX SS. Your X motor has more bottom-mid so It should pull the 30" pretty good.

225X prop

With a full tournament load ,which includes water in live well ,all your tackle and full tank of gas you better run a 26 trophy if you want to get on plane in less than 50 yards, thats what I run and I fish a tournament every week ,with a 27 trophy it will hardly get out of hole with a full tournament load ,but then again my partner weighs about 270.

30 chopper II

JR, How fast you run with that 30 chopper ?

I run a 28et @ 92 on the limit. 30 chopper would be a less expensive alternative to a 30et. I would like to bring the rpm down more for cruising.

ran a 27 trophy +

Ran it yesterday. Had two guys drive it and both said they got it to 86 mph at 6300 rpm. But the motor has no torque tab on it. I can't drive it past 75! Ordered a torque tab today from bobs since it has a bob's lower unit.
