Small shaft 1.75 gears

Did Merc ever make Sportmasters with the small shaft and 1.75 gears?
Did they make 2.5L fishing gearcases with 1.75 gears?

I'm thinking about gearcase options for the 175XS.

Definitely made 2.5 sporty's with 1.75's...I used to have one.
