skirt question

I'm sure this is not what you thought when you seen the title. he he I just removed the lower skirt from my motor and found all the bolts and rubber nuts/grommets galled. Do you guys go back with new same type or is there something better?

I got some rubber grommets that were the same thread pattern as stock from Lowe's. They will work with stock bolts but just barely. An extra 1/2" of bolt will definitely help. Mine is an Alien style pand/skirt. :beer:
