Set up for xb2002 with 280

I've got a xb2002 tournament with a 15" mid,sport master, and a 280 with no limiter, 8" set back and even with the pad. Best speed I've got is 105 with a 30p. Does anybody have any tips on set up to get more speed out of it.

Is the lip on the pad stock?

Ditto on the lip. But even if its stock? Measure it to see exactly how much.

just put your 24 on it and it still goes 105..

Has the Sportmaster been worked??? A stock SM at 105 is getting close to, or over, it's limit. Lots of stern lift in that case. A 30" pitch prop is definitely not what the doctor ordered either.

Take the sportsmaster off use it for an anchor get an xr small case with a bobs retro and that should put you close to 115 even with a shitty prop !!!!!!

You need some gear case work and I would add some setback...what prop are you running?
