I've had 5 allisons in the past(4 2003's and 1 2002), last time being early 2000's. Had a few other performance bass boats since then but decided to get back into an allison 2003. Running a 225pm on it with a b&b 26 trophy and a 26 chopper and wondering what props people are running with this set up these days. How high is the prop shaft and 12 or 24v trolling motor. I use to run a johnson 56# troller and it was more than fine for power.

I don't know that much has actually changed in the last 20 years. Some guys really like the Pro Max prop.

28P Lightning ET, split the gearcase on engine height, and you should be within 1/4 inch either way of Nirvana if you have raised your limiter. Might need a 30P if limiter is stock. My xb2003 is extremely sensitive to added weight. 180-pound partner slows it down five mph. So take what you need, not what you might need next time. 12.5 inch jackplate on mine.
