Probably wrong area for this post but, slightly ticked off with my "new" minn kota trolling motor. Used probably six times at the most.
First stop Saturday lift rope lets go. No break or tear apparent.
Just went to stow the motor and all I got was a piece of rope. Happens all the time right? Sure, but how the hell do you stow it now? I see no release bracket, pin, spring nothing in case the rope breaks. Nothing in the install manual so I had to put in on the trailer with the tmotor in the deployed position.

Anyone know the secret? Thank God I was only a couple of mile from the ramp.

Parking Lot

When I said Parking Lot I meant the one here at Humminbird. I just put it on the trailer with the unit deployed and brought it up here since we're a Minn Kota service center now. So, everything posted here in the office.
Real simple fix/operation once someone shows you how. Normally when I just try to fix stuff myself I tear up a whole lot more.
