A nice muskie just took my brand new 3 5/8 deep perch. first time using it. my net was too small and it was jumping like a demon. bummer.

I like these lures but i hate loosing them.

I tried one or two of them. They have awesome paint jobs, but didn't seem to produce as well as other cranks for some reason. Seemed to get hung worse too.

It's been raining for 24 hours where I am camping so I just went to the dock to fish my new live target 2 5/8 black frog. I cast about 25 times and finally what I thought was a decent large mouth jumped at it but didn't take it. About 15 more casts it took it and I set the hook. I was fighting it pretty good and then it felt like I was stuck on a rock, the fish pulled so hard. I still did not realize it was a muskie and that is where I made my mistake. It then jumped and I tried to ease up but he snapped my 20 lbs. line. Damn. I had him on for about a minute and should have let him run. I love love target lures but am losing them to unforeseen muskies when fishing for bass. Damn.
