nine weeks ago I slung a blade while in a turn. I had just been running 45 minutes hooked up. After getting ejected from the boat last year at the rally and having a blade come off in a turn and not while running fast got me to thinking about the next time something happens or strike three. I really considered selling the ally seriously for most of this nine weeks and even considered buying a party barge to have a more family friendly boat. I have come to the realization that I can't bear the thought of not being an Ally owner and the pride that goes with it and being a part of such a great group of people. Plus I don't want to be without my ally and remembering the good ole days when I had it. It wasn't until I told Bald Allison that I was selling the boat and he e-mailed me back "you will regret it" that I thought, I don't like to regret things so I am keeping her. I am one of the lucky ones in the boating world that has such a fine machine. So as you can see my name is now Allyfreek. MikeM

Yea dude.....KEEP IT !!!!!!!

I once had an XTB-21 with a Jimmy Green built Mod 2.4 that was IMMACULANT !!!!!!! I had a real bad blow out one day, so I dropped it off to the local boat shop to sell for me. I was sick over that one. Every time I seen an Allison, my stomach would turn in grief !!! Then I bought the one I have now and will never be with out an Allison again !!!!! I had a REAL bad blow-out today running 96 on lake Hartwell, I shook it off, and brought er thru yander just a gettin it. I have to say that a true blow-out scares the crap outta me, but continue driving is the best remedy in my opinion.

Matt.

Good story there Allyfreek, I have yet to find out about the Dreaded Hook and from the stories I have heard it may just be a matter of time, meanwhile I carry a Full roll of Buttwipe all the time just incase.
