Grandsport Upgrades

Pulled the boat out of storage and started the upgrades.

Heres what I got done yesterday - new gauges, new steering wheel, new shifter.

Still a pile of work to do - transom upgrade kit (not looking forward too )
New 8" manual jackplate, rebuilt 225 promax with PCU and 260 style fuel system, ipod stereo set up, Digitron EGT. Have some bottom chips to repair. Got a NASS carbon fiber cowl set up too. Hoping to take about 50 lbs in total out of the back of the boat.
Picked up another 26 yammy drag and a 26 Hoss to try.

I like the wheel and shifter upgrade. Does the shifter just bolt on or is there a lot more to it?

Its not that difficult to install however good luck finding one. Apparently they went out of business. Diamond Marine but the left over parts and apparently can put a few together. There not cheap but there the best outboard shifter made.

Those pics are pretty small The gauges match the yellow and white boat perfect
