I'm selling my 99 280 Sport engine complete with fuel pump, filter assembly, and trim pump and lines. Engine has just under 195 hours. I installed an hour meter connected to the fuel pump which only runs when the pump runs so engine may have slightly less. My Merc dealer doesn't have the "chip" to scan the ECU. I purchased this engine new and has very little run time above 6000rpm. Compression is between 135 & 140 on all cylinders with leak down 5 - 6%, warm. Test was done at 1300ft above sea-level so and it should be higher at lower elevations. Engine never been apart and runs as new. I always used Pennzoil synthetic after break in was completed. Engine was last run October 2004 and has been stored inside since. I'm located in ZipCode 15613.
