I am asking 3450.00 OBO for it. The motor is a very strong little motor and I ran my 2003 at 88.4, but I am sure it would have hit 90 light. The motor is equiped with racing/performance reeds and big boor carbs w/velocity stacks (installed 4 months ago). It also has solid motor mounts - which is rare or hard to find item for a E-rude. The compression is 130 to 135 on the top four heads and 124 on the bottom two. It is a very clean motor, but I currently have a crack in the LU (not near the gears though), but I will be selling it w/a repaired LU case/housing.
The motor is a 3.0L, 1998 - 225hp E-rude, Vindicator (around 430 lbs). This is a very nice Looper engine that has been well maintained. Since I owned it, I only ran synthetic oils. I do not know the hours, but I suspect it is around 300 - 350, or so. I will also sell it with the throttle cables and wiring harness.
I can send some pics. I haven't removed the motor from the boat as of yet - was waiting for my new motor and wanted to be able to run my boat in the interim. But if somebody needs it, I will pull the motor early.
