Hi Guys, I am starting to think I might need to put some plugs in my engine because of inconsistent RPMS. The boat runs fine and Only has about 80 hours but I bought it used and just wondering if the plug that is in it is what everyone runs or not? Its a 2012 Mercury Sport XS 250 with Sportmaster Gearcase

If you order from your Merc Dealer they are $25each and come pre-gapped. I always buy them online for much less and gap them myself. Just be careful and do not put any pressure on the tip.
You can get them locally at Advance Auto or O'Reillys but they have gone up to $14.99 and they more than likely won't have them in stock.......your best bet is to order them from Rock Auto or sometimes Amazon.

Rockauto has really dumb commercials and really great prices with cheap shipping. My NGK IR plugs for my Honda Jet ski and Honda Pilot cost 50% of what they do most everywhere else. Summit Racing is close to Rockauto too.
