02 225 merc smartcraft help

My dad has 02 225 3.0L Merc. We are trying to rig it to an 2011 Allison xb21. The smartcraft plug on the boat is a 6 pin male plug and the plug on the motor is a 6 pin male plug. Any ideas on an adapter? Has anyone else ran into this?

ok guys ive done some research and that plug is actually for the fuel/paddle wheel connector on the smartcraft gauges. does anyone know of an 6 pin male to 6 pin male adapter harness for that. the pn# that comes out of the boat is 84-865891a02 and the part # of what I believe it connect to on the engine is 84-859244a1. the problem I have is that they are identical 6 pin male plugs. the engine serial number is 0t514043 any help is appreciated ive been working on this for several days and no one at mercury has a clue about this.

You might ask Don Weed at European Marine. He helped me get the right harness's to hook up smart craft and the the motor when I replaced an old Force with a new Merc 4 stroke on a pontoon. Seemed to know all the different wiring combinations.
