Just curious, will one of the 'unicorn' 200XS motors mount to a normal jackplate? In my case an 8" Detwiler. Do you have to go smartcraft with the 200XS or will it mount to conventional instruments.

I can't see pulling the trigger having spent my boat money for this year, but that doesn't stop the winter what ifs.

I love the Winter what if's>>>>:p

No, you don't HAVE too....but I felt the same way...not sure if the MercMonitor gauge was worth it>>>>IT IS.

This is whats in GS#2 It is so cool, features I like, Fuel in gallons, mpg, best economy, top speed, avg speed, Speed set up to 1000rpm.

Not familiar with a "unicorn" but this is what ours look like.....

I'm almost sure the transom bracket is OEM.

Dave Hensley has a really sweet Gen2 200xs ROS for sale.

Have Fun....

BTW.....one year ago yesterday, GS#1 up in flames.:(

Just bolt it on and go Lotus50. Got to put the oil tank in the boat and external trim pump if your not already running one. All bolt patterns are standard. I can fix you right up.....Just got the gearcase back and it has all new seals and the Lee Sanderson modified, new, 3.0 Liter driveshaft that will not corrode at the wp seals like a Sportmaster. $1100 upgrade.
