In doing some research on the ROS I'm getting for our new GS ........ I found the original buyer.

Turns out it was Gary Ballough, as in GB Racing.(S19 FJ Propeller), got a lot of very good info on our motor and talked for 45min about all things Allison & boating. Lot of good vibes, seems like a very nice person.

Our ROS is one of four bought & never raced, used only on his personal boat.... (the yellow one in the link).
He still has a pair, both with very low hrs, 50-100, never raced that he grades at 9+ to 10. $16000.00 ea. He would like to sell as a pair but will separate. He would also be willing to sell just the powerheads.

He can be reached at.....

I have an all freshwater 2012 with 151 hours and 90% of those revs were below 3500rpm. Immaculate motor. $17,500. Putting a 15" 250XS on my GS so the little 200XS ROS is coming off.

Mr. Rose is correct. This 200XS ROS is cherry. Shoulda, coulda, woulda and it will be gone. Rare little beast.

Hey Dave, Could you tell me a little about your 250xs short shaft conversion? I have the same motor in the 20" sporty on my xb2003. Just wondering what the cost of converting would be, and what the weight difference is. Thanks for any answers. Ricky

If the funds weren't a factor I would love to own one of these motors. Would really be perfect for the type of boating I do. Who knows... maybe one day lol. I can dream anyway.
