Allison r13

I have a 1974 Allison r13, have had it for about 15 years just sitting in the garage. I'm starting to plan going thru the boat and running it with a Johnson 70hp three banger. I want to make sure the hull is sound. I know for sure the transom will have to be rebuilt. But,,, my question: do these r13's have a core or are they just laid up fiberglass and supported by the stringers?

As you can see, I like my STV's and have a Mirage Jaguar as well. I would like to own an SS2000 someday.

M 1970 isnt an R model as far as i can tell but it does have a core. it was plywood in the keel/pad for a bout 3 feet forward from the transom. The rest of the bottom was balsa. I think it was all 1/4" but may have been some 3/8 too
