I have a 92 xb 02/260. 200 cut sporty.1.87 gears.7/16 above the pad.With a 30 hoss triton my best is 108.4 empty.Same hight with my 27 trophy loaded to fish it will run 98 to 100
slip numbers change with load, prop type and diameter. best i have seen is about 6% with a moderate load and a big eared chopper. yammi drags are the worst for slip about 10-15%. et's are about 8-10%

mathews boat is the quickest no doubt but he is also the lightest by a margin. my point was the 3 litre on the back of an ally drag. most don't even consider it on our 2002's or 2003's much less a drag.
you guys need to get on byuboyz.com and look at the thread "morgan city pictures". someone posted some vids of a blue ally with a 12" modified 300promax running 1/8 mile drags. the motor was built by galen burden and is bad arse to say the least.
on an xb2002, going from 11" to 9" of setback, how much do i have to lower my motor. figured someone had a scale or rule of thumb. ex. for every 1inch back to come up 1/8 and so forth.
